A number of travelers traveling to the USA are dropping

According to preliminary data of the Commerce Department’s National Travel and Tourism Office, the number of international tourists arriving in America has decreased nearly by 1.7% this year, while the World Tourism Organization reported that the travelers traveling around the world have reached 1.4 billion last year. That’s a 6% increase.

The report of the Commerce Department’s National Travel and Tourism Office shows that a bit more than 37 million international travelers came to the USA between January and June.

U.S. Travel Association states that in 2019, the number of visitors will remain just about the same as last year.

Scholars report that the reasons for this are linked to many factors, including ongoing global economic cooling, Trump’s administration, and the value of the dollar is strong, making travel here more expensive compared to other countries to name just a few.
