Adjara advertised as a tourism destination at International French Travel Market
Paris hosted an international travel market where Georgia's seaside resort, Adjara, showcased its tourism potential. The visitors of Georgian stand would get all the necessary travel information and try Georgian wine and traditional sweet Churchkhela.
International French Travel Market (IFTM) is one of the chief travel and tourism trade shows in France. The region was presented by the Adjara Tourism Department, and representatives of the National Tourism Administration, along with travel companies.
The Head of the Tourism Department of Adjara, Tinatin Zoidze, held business meetings with travel agencies, international media platforms, and advertising companies. According to her, taking part in IFTM is essential for promoting Georgia and the region itself.
"The principal players of the industry from all over the world are represented here, which is a great opportunity for establishing business relationships and building partnerships," she continued.
IFTM is an annual fair representing more than 500 travel companies and organizations from all around the world. It hosts an average of 23,000 visitors each year.
