Citizens of Ukraine and Georgia will travel to both countries with ID cards only
Mamuka Bakhtadze, the Prime Minister of Georgia, announced that the governments are working on a new initiative to enable citizens of Georgia and Ukraine to travel to both countries with only electronic ID cards, like the similar negotiations the country has with Turkey. He noted that this will support tourism and deepen economic relations between those countries.
According to him, this is an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between Ukraine and Georgia. He has also noted that the government is working to have similar relations with other countries in the future.
The citizens of both countries do not need a visa to visit each country for 90-days during any 180-day period. However, they need a passport to cross the borders.
