Kutaisi International Airport is number one in Europe with passenger traffic

According to Airports Council International (ACI Europe) report, Kutaisi’s passenger traffic grew by 52.5% in 2018, making it number one among other European airports. It's followed by Antalya (21.1%), Tbilisi (20.4%), Kiev (19.4%), Kharkiv (19.3%), Bodrum (18.8%), and Rostov (18.8%).

The report is the only air transport statement that combines all types of airline passenger flights from, to, and within Europe - full service, charter, low cost, and others. It also stated that in 2018, the passenger traffic across European airports grew by 6.1%, meaning that a total of 2.34 billion people flew across the continent.
