Passenger flow in Georgian airports rise by 3%

According to the United Airports of Georgia, all of the airports of the country served 5,200,419 passengers in 2019, which is a 3% rise compared to the previous year.

The most significant increase was in Kutaisi and Batumi airports, while Tbilisi saw a decrease.

The report states that in 2019, Tbilisi International Airport served 3,692,202 passengers (-3%), Kutaisi International Airport - 873,907 passengers (42%), and Batumi International Airport – 624,178 passengers (4%).

As for local airports, Mestia and Ambrolauri served 10,132 passengers in 2019, which is 23% more than in 2018. In terms of numbers, Mestia Airport hosted 8,291 passengers (23%) and Ambrolauri Airport - 1,866 (23%).
